In June 2021, the federal government passed legislation to make today, September 30th a federal statutory holiday called The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. As staff and students of St. Theresa Catholic Secondary School in the ALCDSB family, we humbly recognize that it is our responsibility to engage in ongoing learning about Orange Shirt Day, Residential Schools, TRC 94 Calls to Action, and Truth and Reconciliation and are encouraged to honour their learning and Calls to Action by wearing an orange shirt today.
