Congratulations to Sabrina Lloyd-Ellis and Lily Goss for their historic 5th place finish at the OFSAA Tennis Championships in Sr. Girls Doubles this past week at the Aviva Center in Toronto. Sabrina and Lily won their first two matches and advanced to the quarterfinal match on Center Court. After a back and forth 8 -5 loss to the eventual silver medalists from Lawrence Park, the girls found their game and won their next two matches to advance to Championship Wednesday and the semi-final of the Bronze medal match. The result was a heartbreaking 8-6 loss to the second team from Lawrence Park, the eventual Bronze medal winners. All in all, Lily and Sabrina went the furthest at OFSAA of any Regi tennis players with an overall record of 4 wins and 2 losses they finished as the fifth best high school girls doubles team in Ontario.
