June 07, 2022

IG - FB - Virtual Summer Wellness Workshop Graphic.jpgVirtual Summer Wellness workshops are being offered to students entering Grade 7 -12 this summer by the ALCDSB Social Work Team and delivered via the Microsoft Teams platform.

The objective of the wellness workshops is to offer psychoeducation and accompanying strategies and tools for a range of mental health and wellness concerns.

Students are invited to attend as many or as few workshops as they would like based on their needs and interests. To participate students must have access to a functional computer (or another electronic device) with microphone and camera to fully participate and engage.

The workshops being offered do not constitute therapeutic interventions, instead provide Tier 1 intervention to the ALCDSB student community. Student participants requiring more intensive support will be offered individual Social Work services through the standard referral process.

Register for your preferred workshop(s) by Wednesday, June 29.
