The program consists of a placement period, where young women will travel to workplaces throughout the Bay of Quinte during the week of May 14th-18th, 2018, and participate in a shadow day with a local employer. It will focus primarily upon sectors and jobs that are viewed as “male-dominated”, demonstrating to young women that they are capable of achieving success in any career. Female youth from Belleville, Quinte West, and Prince Edward County between the ages of 16 and 24 are invited to apply. Application deadline is Monday, April 23.
