Nicholson has continues to improve the Learning Commons. Major work has been done over the last few years to make the Centre more inviting, easier to use and productive for students. The library welcomes students both before and after classes and throughout the school day for homework, study, research, or to access the computer network.
Library staff are available throughout the school day for support. They work with students and classroom teachers to provide support in the area of library orientation, study skills, how to read with understanding, essay writing, paraphrasing, seminar preparation and Culminating Activity reading and writing.
A series of pamphlets are available on specific aspects of writing and Teacher Librarians are always happy to assist in any way possible.
