We are proud to once again be participating in the Terry Fox School Run. Over the past 14 years, St. James Major Catholic School has raised $2,488.47 for cancer research in Terry’s name. Terry Fox set an example of courage and compassion as he ran across Canada to help those suffering from cancer. Now it’s our turn to make a difference. Students will have an opportunity to purchase hotdogs for $1.00 each. Terry Fox t-shirts will be raffled with tickets being sold for 2 for $1.00 or 5 for $2.00. Tickets will sold on September 27th. All proceeds will be donated to the Terry Fox Foundation. After the walk, students will enjoy a freezie at the school. Thank you to our Trustee, Wendy Proctor for providing the freezies.
