​Junior Girls Soccer 2023 Roster

2019 Season Summary:​​

The 2019 junior girls soccer team was another strong and talented group of girls. The season started off with a bang, losing in the finals of the KCVI tournament in a 14 penalty shootout. Learning from their mistakes, the girls worked hard in the KASSAA regular season to do their best in each game (even if that meant enduring early morning practices). The season came to an end in the semis, after falling short to the Frontenac Falcons with a score of 3-2. Team captain Lauren Varey and the team extend a thank you to the wonderful coaches Mr. Coleman, Mrs. Hawkins-Hogan and Mrs. Brioux for giving up their time to coach this season. Great work this season, girls!

2018 Season Summary:

It can be strongly argued that this year's edition of the junior girls soccer team was the strongest in the school's history. The girls went undefeated throughout the entire season, they also outscored their opponents 90 goals to 2 in league and tournament play. The team went on to capture its third consecutive KASSAA championship with an  exciting 1-0 win over Regi in the final.

2017 Season Summary:

A strong core of grade tens with the addition of skilled and spirited grade nines made the junior girls' soccer season one to remember. The team finished second in the regular season with four wins, one loss and one tie. The junior girls won their quarterfinal game 5-0 against Frontenac advancing to the semi finals where the junior girls captured the win with a score of 4-1 against LaSalle taking the girls in to the KASSAA Championship game, where they eventually secured another Jr Girls Soccer championship! Two highlights of the season of the season were how hard the girls worked in both the KCVI and LaSalle tournaments. Throughout the entire season the team always showed a positive team environment, which was kept the teaming laughing and supporting each other. One thing that always kept the team guessing was which Robertson twin was which.
