Please Help Us Help Our Students
Our Elementary Remote Learning School's Social Justice Club has taken on a project to help raise funds for three organizations that directly support students and families within our board.
ALCE Foundation has provided more than $360,000 in financial assistance to over 1,060 students and their families. Families are supported through a discreet and timely process between schools and the Office of the Director of Education, on behalf of the Foundation. Our goal is to help families in our school communities needing urgent financial assistance, in times of challenge, with unexpected expenses such as eyeglasses, medical supplies, food, clothing, and transportation. Our second charity of choice is the Food Sharing Project and Food for Learning. Both organizations strive to ensure that children do not go through their school day hungry. They provide breakfasts, early morning meals, lunches and/or hearty snack programs to meet the specific needs of their school communities, led by dedicated volunteers.
We've set up a FlipGive account to help our students help others. If you're not familiar with FlipGive please check out this link. https://www.flipgive.com/how-it-works
